New Family Pictures

I finally found the time to get the kids all dressed up cute and we went down to have family pics taken- After many attempts, we finally got a few cute ones! There is no better way to try the patience of a mother than to try and capture all three children smiling and looking at the camera at the same time LOL! It's a really good thing that they're so stinkin' cute! I posted them off to the side and down below for your viewing pleasure...

The New Place

We finally got all moved into our new place and we're loving it! Ryan was able to put new floors in before we moved in. So here we have the before and after pictures. Don't mind all the boxes around, we did just move LOL.
The girls are loving the fact that there is a swimming pool and a playground. Not to mention all of the "girls" in the neighborhood. Kelsi told me that this is great because at the old house we only had boys to play with and now she has girls to play with... "It's much, much better mom!"
We owe a big thank you to our new landlord- thanks Becky!

First Day of School

School started on Monday! Hip, hip, hurray!! The nice things is that the girls are cheering as well. Jessica is very excited to have finally graduated into an all day schedule. She thinks that eating lunch at school is pretty cool- whatever makes her happy, right?!? Kelsi is just excited that she is in the 4th grade. As Kelsi puts it, "Mom, you know this means I'm growing up, right?" -Sigh- I guess she really is growing up. It's amazing to see them get older and feel a sense of accomplishment just by being their mom. They really are amazing little girls!
Taylor, on the other hand, is having a hard time adjusting to sissies being gone. He doesn't quite understand the whole school thing and asks all day long, "sissies?" This is accompanied with a shoulder shrug and a look around the house calling their names. After his house search he comes back and says, "I don't know!" It's pretty cute.

Moving (again)

In the last blog I said that I would blog this... so here goes. We're moving, yes, again! Gotta love being in Nursing School. We weren't really looking, well OK, looking but not seriously, when I found this great condo. The house we live in now is fairly run down and Ryan spends a lot of time fixing it up so that things work. The landlords are very interested in receiving the rent check and not much else. We feel like we sold our house so that we didn't have to fix it up... hence, the looking. So, I found a condo in Provo/Orem that is close to the hospital, close to Ryan's new job (next blog LOL), and allows the girls to go back to their old school, which they are very excited about. On top of all this, it will save us money, have less area to keep clean, has a pool and clubhouse, playground etc. and the new landlords are great! They're fixing it up and paying Ryan to do it. What more could we possibly ask for?!? We are also excited about the fact that it should be in a student family ward. Hopefully this will give us ward members that are a bit more understanding of our situation because they are in the same one. We're all pretty excited about it. It has given me a huge reason to clean out and downsize the things we don't need. We're already up to 4 trips to the DI. If you have not seen it or played with it in the last 6 months, it's gone! Anyone want to buy a beautiful kitchen table? All in all, we feel it really is a blessing and the best thing we can do for our family right now. So, yes, we're moving, again!
As requested, here's some pics of the table- we're selling it for $150 if you're interested...

Fun with Cousins

As you can tell by the new background, I am VERY excited for school to start again! The girls are ready too! They have one more week of complete boredom (as Kelsi puts it) until they get to go back. Hurray! I know it's been awhile since I posted- life is crazy... long story short we have been: getting ready for the new school year, doing a staycation, taking new family pics (see sidebar), still putting mom through Nursing school, getting ready to move (yes, again- I'll blog that later), and on and on. LOL- I cannot ever complain that my life is boring!
On to the blog for the day. Ryan's brother and his family were in town this weekend from Washington state. The kids had a great time spending time together. They hiked up to Timp cave, then we had a picnic up the canyon (where Taylor cracked his head open), and then went back to Grandma and Grandpa's to play on the water slide. I think that they all had a lot of fun. I included some pics for your viewing enjoyment.

My adventure

Those of you that see me often will appreciate an update on this one... for the last couple of weeks I have been passing another kidney stone- last count, this is number eleven. I gave in and finally made an appointment with the Urologist. By the time the appointment came, I had been running a fever, had intense pain, and was not urinating as often or as much as I should.
Off to the appointment we go... the Urologist has the nerve to tell me that he doesn't think it's a kidney stone but maybe a dislocated rib. I was so angry... so, bless my patient mother, off to the regular doctor we go.
He takes an x-ray and confirms that I have dislocated ribs and need to go to a physical therapist to have them fixed.
Bless my mother again because instead of waiting to get an appointment, she takes me to her PT and asks if they can fix me... they work me in! The PT applied some tortures to my body and low and behold, I can breathe again!
By now, I know you are all thinking that the kidney stone was a figment of my enormous imagination. Well, all I can figure is that the PT did enough rearranging that he broke it loose... I passed it two days later, urinated out all the blocked up blood and now feel a hundred times better.
For those that are curious, yes I did catch it, it was the size of a piece of rice. No, I am not taking it to the Urologist... he thinks I'm nuts anyways!

Memories...

This is a great request from Kim... here your go- I'll be interested to see what comments I get

1. Add a comment on this post, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.
