The newest addition to the family...

No, I am not pregnant! However, we have a new addition to our family. His name is Bob. For those of you that go to Costco with your kids, you will totally understand this. For those that don't, let me explain... when you leave Costco, they check your receipt and mark it with a marker. If the kids ask, they will put a smiley face on their hands. We go to Costco on, at least, a weekly basis and the kids ALWAYS get the smiley face. A couple of weeks ago, the girls told Taylor that his smiley face had a name, it's Bob. So... needless to say Taylor now asks for Bob. He kisses Bob, talks to Bob and in general loves Bob! If he doesn't have Bob on his hands (yes, he now has to have two Bobs, one for each hand) he will find a marker and draw all over his hands. I guess I will just humor him... this is just a stage, right? I'm not going to have to send him to high school with Bob, am I!?!

Hey, could you use Bob to entertain him at church? That could be a great thing! You no longer have to take toys with you. And if you like boating so much, come with us some time. We like to go every weekend, but can't go unless someone is with us b/c we need at least 3 adults. I don't think we'll go this weekend b/c it's gonna be crowded with the holiday, but any other weekend that you're not busy, just give us a call. We usually go to Utah Lake

Long live Bob! My kids have never actually had a Costco person draw on their hand, but the love the smiley face on the receipt! (in fact, they argue about WHO gets to hold the receipt)

Taylor is awfully cute! Perhaps Bob can substitue for an imaginary friend....

I do hope that he out grows it by High School...that or put him in Karate now 'cause 'the boy with smiley face stickers on his hands who talks to them like they are real people' always gets beat up by the football team! Just kidding...but yeah seriously self defense classes. Haha

PS to the above comment: Today Kai and I went to Walmart. The greeter put a "Bob" sticker on Kai's hand. He looked at it weird, pulled it off and threw it on the floor. No worries here...now if we could just lose the binky!
